3. SNFs: Skilled Nursing Facilities.
4. ALFs: Assisted Living Facilities.
5. Word of Mouth.
6. Networking Events.
7. Church Events.
8. Independent Living: Communities with a very large Geriatric Population.
9. ACOs: Accountable Care Organizations.

 

 

All of these are areas where there are potential referrals, which can convert into patients for your company. You need to establish relationships with all of these groups in order to maximize your potential for growth and success.

 

 

Make sure you are asking the right questions and always ask for the next patient referral. This will remind the referral coordinator or case worker to send to you their next home health patient, or maybe two or more patients.
